Bahia coco paradise: A path to healing through nature, horse therapy, turtles, beach, yoga and water sports. Back to basics. Reset the spirit. Into the Wild. Healing with Nature. Horses. Turtles. Yoga. Dance. A magical place where only coconut farmers and fisherman surround the coco plantation on the beach. On a mission to promote mental health and healing for the multi dimensional suffering worldwide. Sometimes, we need to ‘check out’ to a maternal nurturing nest to get a break, breathe and realign ourselves. It’s so easy to get affected by life’s events, especially if one is sensitive by nature.

Healing Haven‘ is a project promoting mental health and rejuvenation by combining the nutrition, beach, horse therapy (EAT), water sports, yoga, Dance and all the natural wild environments. Healthy locally grown food and fresh fish from a sustainable eco village.

The sea has been proven by numerous studies to have positive effects on your brain and mental health. Beach is to unwind and recharge. Sea air is charged with healthy negative ions that help make us feel at ease. Negative ions also balance serotonin levels. Producing a natural anti depressant effect.
Barefoot steps on sand provides stimulating effect. Feet contain network of nerves which absorbs free ions from the earths surface. This also strengthens the muscles. Grounding is so important to do which creates a warm tingling feeling. Sun exposure helps create the needed vitamin D for the body, which supports calcium absorption creating stronger bones. The repetitive sounds of the waves crashing help to unwind our mind creating a relaxing state, wonderfully meditative. The color blue helps soothe the soul and is tranquil in that helps reduce stress. Once in the water, the high level of minerals like magnesium, potassium and iodine May help the fight infection, heal the body and detoxify. Swimming is not only an excellent cardio exercise, kind to your ligaments/joints i’ve proven to help reduce anxiety and depression. CDC reports swimming 2.5 hours a week can help decrease risks of chronic illnesses.

Equine therapy, also known as Equine-Assisted Therapy (EAT), is a treatment that includes equine activities and/or an equine environment in order to promote physical, occupational, and emotional growth in persons suffering from ADD, Anxiety, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Dementia, Depression, Developmental Delay, Genetic Syndromes (such as Down Syndrome), traumatic brain injuries, behavioral issues, abuse issues, and many other mental health problems. Equine Therapy can help the individual build confidence, self- efficiency, communication, trust, perspective, social skills, impulse control, and learn boundaries. Since the horses have similar behaviors with humans, such as social and responsive behaviors, it is easy for the patients to create a connection with the horse. Riders with disabilities demonstrate their remarkable accomplishments in national and international sport riding competitions. Equine-Assisted Therapies have been recognized in the medical and mental health field by most major countries. No good ideas come alone. Inspiration is everywhere.
